Three Pennsylvania Electric Utilities Now Seeing Decline in Residential Shopping

Three Pennsylvania electric utilities saw a decline in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply in the most recent week, according to the latest stats.

Specifically, PECO, PPL and Penn Power saw a net decline in the number of residential customers on competitive supply for the most recent week. PECO and PPL had seen residential shopping fall in the immediately prior week as well.

From about June 13 to about June 19 (report date varies slightly by utility), the weekly growth (loss) in residential electric customers on competitive supply at each EDC was:

West Penn Power         410
