U.S. Gas & Electric Launches Residential Service in New State

Energy Services Providers, Inc. d/b/a U.S. Gas & Electric has begun offering residential electricity in Ohio.

Specifically, under the Ohio Gas & Electric trade name, U.S. Gas & Electric is offering residential electricity at Duke Energy Ohio.

U.S. Gas & Electric is offering a monthly variable rate with an introductory price of 5.890 cents per kWh for the first month.

Customers will be eligible for a 12% rebate off their highest monthly supply charge following the first 12 months of service.

U.S. Gas & Electric Inc. also recently began listing offers for residential natural gas service on the Ohio Apples to Apples chart.

According to PUCO Apples to Apples pricing, U.S. Gas & Electric is offering residential customers at Dominion East Ohio a monthly variable product with a supplier base rate of $5.5900 per mcf and supplier total rate of $6.0654 per mcf.

U.S. Gas & Electric's website also indicates that it offers residential gas service at Columbia Gas of Ohio, with a monthly variable rate option. A specific rate was not available and not listed in PUCO Apples to Apples.
