New York Media Outlet to Compare Historical ESCO Prices Using Actual Billed Data (Utility Launches ESCO Price Comparison Calculator)

A New York media outlet has asked customers to send in their results from a new ESCO versus utility cost comparison calculator to enable the outlet to offer a comparison of ESCO prices.
Specifically, Niagara Mohawk has launched its previously reported online price calculator allowing ESCO customers to compare their actual competitive supply costs with shadow-billed default service costs. The anticipated July launch had been first reported by Matters.
Syracuse.com asked ESCO customers to email the results of their personal cost comparisons so that it may aggregate the results, "and publish them periodically to give consumers an idea of how ESCOs compare."
