Pennsylvania did not record a third week of declining aggregate residential electric shopping, but three individual utilities saw a decline in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply, according to the latest stats from the PUC.

Statewide, from about July 11 to July 17 (reporting date varies slightly by utility), Pennsylvania saw residential shopping increase by an aggregate of 525 accounts. While anemic, this growth is a reversal of the week-ago decline in residential shopping of 1,700 accounts.

Three utilities still recorded a decrease in residential shopping from about July 11 to July 17: Duquesne Light, PECO, and PPL.

Specifically, from about July 11 to July 17 (report date varies slightly by utility), the weekly growth (loss) in residential electric customers on competitive supply at each EDC was:

Duquesne Light (197)
Met-Ed 796
PECO (443)
Penelec 460
Penn Power 196
PPL (379)
West Penn Power 92
