Champion Energy Services Names New Hires, Appointments to Support Growth, Expansion Beyond Electric Commodity

Champion Energy Services announced several organization appointments to support its continued growth and to seek new opportunities in the broader energy sector.
Champion Energy announced that David Coffman has joined Champion as its Vice President of Sales reporting to Michael Sullivan, the company's Chief Operating Officer. Coffman has nearly 20 years of experience in the energy business including the last six years in the retail electric business.
Coffman joins Champion from GDF SUEZ Energy Resources where he was the Vice President of Marketing responsible for strategic marketing, sales development, new market expansions, demand response and product management. Coffman will lead Champion's existing sales team and its expansion into new markets.
David Visneau, Champion's current Sr. Vice President of Sales, will fill the newly created position of Sr. Vice President, New Business Development, reporting to the company's President and CEO David Tudor. Visneau will be responsible for growing Champion's business into new areas and services in the energy business.
"Visneau's new role will be to expand Champion into new businesses beyond the retail electric provider business, leveraging the company's existing infrastructure and capital capabilities," Tudor said.
