Gulf Electricity Launches Residential, Commercial Service in New State

Gulf Electricity, the retail electric supplier owned by Gulf Oil, has expanded its residential and commercial electric service to Rhode Island, at Narragansett Electric (National Grid).
Specifically, Gulf Electricity is offering Rhode Island residential customers at National Grid a rate of 7.0¢/kWh fixed through December 2013.
An early termination fee of $75 applies.
New residential customers switching to Gulf will receive a $10 Power Points Card (good for free gasoline at any Gulf Station), with $25 automatically added to the card for every 5,000 kilowatt-hours used
Commercial service is also available.
As previously reported, Gulf Electricity also offers residential and commercial electricity in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.
