United Illuminating disclosed that Dominion Retail, Inc. will supply 100% of last resort service load for the period October through December 2013.


Finally! FERC Approves Retail Supplier SECA Settlement

After a decade of litigation, FERC approved a settlement among Integrys Energy Services, Inc., Quest Energy, LLC, and AEP concerning costs under the Seams Elimination Cost Adjustment mechanism. This settlement resolves all matters at issue in the proceeding between the parties, and represents a final settlement of all SECA obligations at issue between AEP and Integrys/Quest. AEP will make a lump sum payment to Integrys/Quest in the amount of $9.5 million. See prior story for background on SECA charges, which "blindsided" retail suppliers
