MISO Files New CONE Values for Capacity Market Zones

The Midcontinent ISO has filed with FERC updated Cost of New Entry (CONE) values for each local resource capacity zone, for the planning year that will commence on June 1, 2014

Notable new CONEs for the planning year that will commence on June 1, 2014 are below:

Illinois-Ameren (Zone 4):              $89,890/MW-yr
Michigan-DTE/Consumers (Zone 7):       $90,100/MW-yr
Michigan-Upper Peninsula (Zone 2):     $90,320/MW-yr
Texas (Zone 9):                        $86,530/MW-yr
