New Retail Supplier to Offer Free Nest Learning Thermostat

Infinite Energy announced that it will be offering its Georgia natural gas customers a product bundled with a Nest Learning Thermostat.

Specifically, new and current Infinite Energy customers will receive the Nest thermostat at no cost upon enrolling in a 24-month fixed rate plan. The Nest retails for $249.

Currently at AGL, Infinite's 24-month fixed rate with the Nest thermostat is $0.599/therm. There is a Customer Service fee of $9.95

Infinite Energy said that it is the first and only energy supplier to offer the Nest in Georgia.

The Nest Learning Thermostat programs itself based on personal temperature preferences, turns itself down when the house is empty, and can be controlled from anywhere using a smartphone, tablet or computer. Nest customers can save up to 20 percent on heating and cooling bills, the company said.
