Pennsylvania Sees Slower Residential Migration Growth

Pennsylvania saw slower growth in the number of residential customers on competitive electric supply in the most recent week, according to stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Statewide, from about September 5 to September 11 (reporting date varies slightly by utility), Pennsylvania saw residential electric shopping increase by an aggregate of about 2,300 accounts, versus growth of 4,600 accounts a week ago.

Specifically, from about September 5 to September 11, the weekly growth (loss) in residential electric customers on competitive supply at each EDC was:

Duquesne Light         (604)

Penn Power              448

West Penn Power         465
