Maryland continues to see residential migration to competitive electric supply increase, but at a slower pace, according to the most recent stats from the PSC.

The PSC has now posted migration data for June and July 2013.

Baltimore Gas & Electric continues to lead the state in residential migration growth, but has seen growth slow since the start of summer.

Specifically, BGE had seen residential migration growth of about 5,000 accounts during May (versus the prior month), but that monthly growth slowed to 3,500 in June, and 2,800 in July.

Pepco saw a precipitous decline in residential migration growth in July, with growth of only 127 accounts, versus growth of nearly 1,000 accounts in June. Pepco residential migration growth had been about 2,000 accounts during May.

In July, Potomac Edison and Delmarva each saw residential migration growth of about 500 accounts from the June total.
