Pennsylvania Utilities File New Prices to Compare; Increase for Some Residential, Commercial Customers

The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed with the PUC new Prices to Compare for the period December 1, 2013 through February 28, 2014.

The Prices to Compare (PTCDefault) rates listed below do not include the state tax adjustment surcharge (STAS).

Excluding the impact of STAS, the new Prices to Compare represent an increase for commercial customers at Penelec and West Penn Power, but a decrease for commercial customers at Met-Ed and Penn Power.

Excluding the impact of STAS, the new Prices to Compare represent an increase for residential customers at Met-Ed and Penn Power, but a decrease for residential customers at Penelec and West Penn Power.

Residential (Rate RS, Rate RT, and Rate GS – Volunteer Fire  
Company, Non-Profit Ambulance Service, Rescue Squad and
