Report: Price Dominant Factor Driving Middle-Market Companies' Retail Energy Supplier Choices, Most Companies Comparing Multiple Quotes
Price is the dominant factor driving the retail energy choices of middle-market companies, according to a new report from the Energy Research Council, a consortium of suppliers and brokers. Specifically, 85% of survey respondents listed price as "very important" when choosing a supplier, with another 14% rating price as important. Combined, contract T&Cs was the next most important factor, listed as "very important" by 56% middle-market companies and "important" by another 38%. The Energy Research Council report also examines how many quotes middle-market companies typically evaluate (most companies compare multiple quotes), and how often such companies review their energy costs. SEPTA Selects Retail Supplier for 3-Year Deal
