North American Power Formally Launches Rewards Program

North American Power has formally launched Renewable Energy REwards, a mobile-friendly rewards program first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (click here) that provides access to an exclusive nationwide network of over 300,000 discounts, covering areas including dining, entertainment, shopping, home services, health, beauty and more. The program is open to customers on North American Power's 100% green electric and 100% cleangas supply products, or a customer taking any level of block wind RECs from North American Power. The REwards mobile app has over 125,000 "show-and-save" deals that are redeemable in-store without ever requiring a printed coupon, plus a savings calculator and built-in GPS deal locator to find nearby offers and participating REwards merchants.

Priority Power Management Selected to Provide On-Site Power Generation Solution to Atlantic Midstream

Priority Power Management, LLC has entered into an agreement with Atlantic Midstream, LLC to develop 3.6 MW of on-site natural gas-fired generation to power Atlantic's new gas processing and treating plant located in Reeves County, Texas.

ERCOT Files Operating Reserves Demand Curve Backcasts with Higher Value of Lost Load

ERCOT has filed new backcast analyses with the Public Utility Commission of Texas showing the impact, in 2011 and 2012, of increasing the Value of Lost Load in the Operating Reserves Demand Curve to $18,000 and $25,000, with final prices not allowed to exceed $9,000. The $18,000 VOLL would have resulted in an energy weighted average price adder P_S of $52/MWh and $8/MWh in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Link to ERCOT backcast
