NRG Residential Solutions Launches in New State, Territories, Rate Under 5¢

NRG Residential Solutions has begun offering electricity service in Illinois, and has also expanded service to additional territories in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey.

In Illinois, NRG Residential Solutions is offering electricity service at Commonwealth Edison.

In Pennsylvania, NRG Residential Solutions has expanded electric service to Met-Ed, Penelec, West Penn Power, and Duquesne Light, in addition to PECO and PPL.

In Maryland, NRG Residential Solutions has expanded electric service to Potomac Edison, in addition to Baltimore Gas & Electric, Pepco, and Delmarva.

In New Jersey, NRG Residential Solutions has expanded electric service to Rockland Electric, in addition to PSE&G, Jersey Central Power & Light, and Atlantic City Electric.

NRG Residential Solutions' offerings in the new state and territories are the same plans as offered in existing territories in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Jersey -- several standard plans such as an NFL-themed plan where applicable in certain markets (for the new territories, Eagles and Redskins markets), a Nest thermostat bundle plan, and an essentials plan; plus fully customizable plans

For the customizable plans, customers may select their enrollment bonus, level of cash-back, term length (from monthly variable up to 12 months fixed), and renewable content.

All plans, including those listed below, include NRG Residential Solutions' "2¢ Sundays" rebate program which, in a one-time rebate after 6 months, provides a rebate to the customer based on if they had been charged 2¢/kWh for their Sunday usage for those first six months versus the otherwise applicable rate
