BGE Files New SOS Rates

Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed updated Type II SOS rates for the three-month period beginning December 1, 2013.

Procurements have been completed for residential and Type I SOS for the period June 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014 as well. BGE said that tariffed residential and Type I rates for the period June 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014 will be filed in December 2013 once the Residential and Type I Time-of-Use rates have been shaped based on June to September 2013 settlement data.

However, BGE has posted updated residential and Type I SOS rates for the period June 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014 as used in its Supply Price Comparison based on the recent October procurement, and such comparison SOS rates may be found on BGE's website (click here)

Notably, the Rate R residential SOS rate for June 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014 is listed as 8.929¢/kWh.

The weighted average Rate R supply price from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014 has been updated to 9.373¢/kWh.

These above rates reflect supply and transmission but exclude reconciliation (Rider 8).

The updated Type II rates are below in ¢/kWh and only reflect the energy component of SOS, excluding transmission and reconciliation (Rider 8).
