Report: Vermont Committee Chair Eyes Review of Electric Choice

Vermont State Representative Tony Klein, Chair of the House Committee on Natural Resources and Energy, has stated an intent to review a form of electric choice, the Rutland Herald reports.
Specifically, the Rutland Herald reported that Klein will consider mechanisms to "partly deregulate" the electric market to allow "Vermont's largest consumers of electricity to negotiate power contracts with sellers outside their designated service territories."
