Retail Provider Hires Former Ambit VP as New President

A former Vice President of Corporate Development at Ambit Energy has joined a retail provider with a national footprint.

Specifically, Entrust Energy has hired Carl Williams as President of Northeast & Midwest Markets. Williams is responsible for Entrust Energy's retail energy expansion and operations in the U.S. Northeast and Midwest markets.

Prior to joining Entrust Energy, Williams served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Ambit Energy, where he was responsible for strategic planning, new market expansion and business development. At Ambit, Williams managed the expansion into 47 deregulated energy markets across 10 states and secured the financing required to foster growth.

Williams previously held leadership positions with Airband Communications and Celion Networks where he assisted in raising over $70M in equity capital to fund business operations.
