PUC to Review Supplier Bonding Requirements

The Pennsylvania PUC has assigned Docket Number M-2013-2393141 for a review of bonding requirements for electric generation suppliers.
The review was required by the retail market investigation.
During a competitive market oversight conference call, PUC Staff indicated that it is preparing a recommendation for the Commission.
Staff indicated that one next step will be comments on the EDC creditworthiness requirements, and whether there is duplication of risk and appropriate collateral requirements to match actual risk.
