Several Pennsylvania utilities have provided updated enrollment data from their Standard Offer customer referral programs.

PPL reported that through October (the most recent date for which data was available), nearly 29,000 residential customers had enrolled with a retail electric generation supplier (EGS) under the Standard Offer Customer Referral Program. Six EGSs are now participating in PPL's residential customer referral program.

PPL reported that about 150 commercial customers had enrolled in the Standard Offer customer referral program through August 31, and that there were no participating suppliers in the commercial program in September and October.

PECO reported that as of November 11, it had more than 8,200 customers participating in the Standard Offer customer referral program. There are a total of nine suppliers participating in the program; suppliers at PECO are required to serve both residential and commercial customers.

Across all four FirstEnergy electric distribution companies, 35,000 customers have switched to an EGS under the customer referral program. Currently, three EGSs are participating in the customer referral program at the FirstEnergy EDCs, and that number will increase to five starting in December.

Duquesne Light told Matters that it is not releasing enrollment information for the referral program.

For context, total weekly residential migration growth in Pennsylvania is about 7,000 accounts per week, principally driven by the Standard Offer program.
