The New Hampshire PUC has approved a change in the timing of procurements for large/medium customer default service at Granite State Electric, but which maintains the use of non-laddered three months contracts.

Currently, large/medium customer default service at Granite State Electric is served on non-laddered three-month contracts procured quarterly.

Under the PUC's order, the use of non-laddered three-month contracts will continue, but beginning with the delivery period starting May 1, 2014, the contracts will instead be procured in semi-annual procurements which will seek separate, three-month contracts for two distinct three-month periods at the same time.

Specifically, these large/medium customer default service procurements will be held in February (for the May-July and August-October periods) and August (for the November-January and February-April periods).
