New Retail Supplier Enters Pennsylvania Market

Discount Power has begun offering electric service in Pennsylvania, at PECO, PPL, and Duquesne Light.
At PECO, Discount Power is offering residential (R) customers a 12-month fixed rate of 8.59¢/kWh, and a monthly variable rate of 7.99¢/kWh.
At PPL, Discount Power is offering residential customers a 12-month fixed rate of 8.49¢/kWh, and a monthly variable rate of 6.89¢/kWh.
At Duquesne Light, Discount Power is offering residential (RS) customers a 6-month fixed rate of 6.49¢/kWh, and a monthly variable rate of 5.99¢/kWh.
The 12-month fixed contracts include an early termination fee of $100. The 6-month contract includes an early termination fee of $50
