Parent of Retail Supplier Names New President

Integrys Energy Group, Inc. has appointed Lawrence Borgard to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer for the holding company, effective January 1, 2014.

In his new role, Borgard will expand his responsibilities to include Integrys' non-regulated businesses, as well as a number of administrative and shared services groups, in addition to his current management of the company's regulated utility businesses.

Borgard will continue to report directly to Charles Schrock, who remains Integrys' chairman and chief executive officer.

"This is a natural step in our succession planning, an enhancement of our bench strength at the executive level, and positions the company well for the future," Schrock said.

Borgard most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Utilities at Integrys Energy Group, Inc., and as Chief Executive Officer of each of Integrys' six electric and natural gas utilities.
