Retail Supplier Expects to Have "Most Profitable Year," Provides Operational Update

U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. announced yesterday that it expects the fiscal year ending December 31, 2013 to be its most profitable ever.

U.S. Gas & Electric listed forecast 2013 adjusted EBITDA as $35.5 million, up from $32.0 million a year ago.

Forecast 2013 gross profit was listed as $72.0 million, up from $64.4 million a year ago.

U.S. Gas & Electric reported that it currently has 308,000 customers, with the customer base expected to grow to 315,000 by year-end. Year-ago customer count was 237,000.

Net sales for 2013 are forecast at $305 million, up from $223 million a year ago.
