Retail Supplier Names New President, As Target of 1 Million RCEs Set

energy.me has promoted Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Schupp to President.

Schupp will continue in his role as COO and expand his responsibility to oversee all day to day operations of energy.me as it expands its 100% broker-centric platform nationally.

Schupp is a 15-year power and commodity veteran who began his career as a grain trader at Cargill, Inc. He previously has held positions as a real time electricity trader for PG&E's National Energy Group and an energy buyer for Nestle USA. Prior to joining energy.me as COO in 2012, Jeremy was the Director of Consulting at INTL FCStone, Inc.

energy.me has a mid-market C&I book of over 250,000 RCEs and said that it has a 2% share of all shopping load in Illinois.

"In 2014, energy.me will expand nationwide, scaling the business and replicating our IL success nationally, with plans to grow to 2% of shopping load across deregulated markets and over 1 million RCE by 2016," the company said.
