Mint Energy Seeks License in New State
Mint Energy, LLC applied for a New Hampshire electric supplier license. Mint Energy said that, initially, it will operate in the PSNH territory. Mint Energy said that during its first two years in its New Hampshire operations, it intends to operate in the service territories of Unitil, Liberty Utilities, and NHEC as customer demand demonstrates. Mint Energy said that it intends to initially only serve all non-residential customer classes, as well as residential customer-class accounts that are attributable to non-residential customers (e.g., churches, etc.)
IDT Energy Seeks Authority to Serve New Customers
IDT Energy, Inc. applied for an expanded Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve customers at Peoples Natural Gas, Peoples TWP, Equitable Gas, Philadelphia Gas Works, and Valley Energy. IDT Energy is currently authorized to serve customers at Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, UGI Central Penn Gas, UGI Penn Natural Gas, UGI Utilities, Inc., and National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation.
