ConEdison Solutions Reports Customer Growth

ConEdison Solutions recorded customer growth during 2013, parent Consolidated Edison, Inc. reported in its annual 10-K.
Specifically, as of December 31, 2013, ConEdison Solutions was serving 159,000 customers. This total does not include 148,000 customers served under four opt-out aggregation agreements.
For comparison, as of December 31, 2012, ConEdison Solutions was serving 154,000 customers. This total does not include 145,000 customers served under two opt-out aggregation agreements.
Of the 159,000 non-aggregation customers served as of December 31, 2013, 124,000 were mass market customers, and 35,000 were industrial and large commercial
ConEdison Solutions currently sells electricity in the service territories of 50 utilities in the states of New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Ohio and Texas, as well as the District of Columbia. Approximately 28 percent of 2013 sales volumes were in New York, 28 percent in New England, 35 percent in the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and 9 percent in Texas.
ConEdison Solutions retail electric volumes sold were 12,167 GWh for the year 2013.
