Start-up Retail Supplier, Led by Veteran of Energy Plus, Reveals Pricing, Receives License in New State

The Maryland PSC granted Inspire Energy Holdings, LLC an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes, as Inspire Energy has now publicly posted its pricing for its initial markets of PECO and PPL in Pennsylvania

As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Inspire Energy is led by CEO Patrick Maloney, who was a founding team member, CIO, and Head of Strategic Market Development, Business Launch Management, Marketing Operations, Technology, and Regulatory Affairs for Independence Energy Group LLC.
Prior to this role, Maloney served as Director of Strategic Market Development, Director of Operations, and Director of Technology for Energy Plus Holdings LLC.
Inspire Energy is also licensed as an electric supplier in Pennsylvania
As previously reported, Inspire Energy's strategy will include focusing on socially conscious customers, while also emphasizing a rewards strategy.

At PECO, Inspire Energy is offering residential customers 1 monthly variable, 100% wind product at a current rate of $0.1029/kWh
At PPL, Inspire Energy is offering residential customers 1 monthly variable, 100% wind product at a current rate of $0.0929/kWh
Customers who enroll will receive a $20 bonus after two months and 5% cash back annually on generation charges. Inspire Energy's website also states customers may choose to donate their cash back rewards to certain advocacy partners, with Inspire Energy matching the donation, up to 10%.
Inspire Energy only offers renewable products.
Additionally, Inspire Energy's website states that, "we've made a commitment to supporting social causes that benefit our customer's families, our partners and the planet."
