Voltage Will Not Proceed With Acquisition of Glacial Energy Retail Suppliers

Voltage Energy Holdings Inc., a private equity-backed company, will not proceed with a transaction under which it would have acquired the various Glacial Energy retail supplier entities from Glacial Energy Holdings.

In a March 17 letter to FERC, Voltage Energy Holdings said, "On December 19, 2013, Voltage Energy Holdings, Inc. ('Voltage') filed an Application for Authorization for Disposition of Jurisdictional Facilities and Request for Expedited Action and Waivers ('Application') along with the Glacial Sellers (as defined in the Application) in the above-captioned docket. This letter is to advise the Commission that the parties will not proceed with the Proposed Transaction described in the Application. Therefore, Voltage respectfully withdraws the Application pursuant to 18 C.F.R. § 385.216 (2013)."
