Gexa Branding Product as "Every Day, Every Night" Plan

Gexa Energy is now offering Texas residential customers a 14-month fixed rate branded as an "Every Day, Every Night Low Price Plan."

"We've seen some offers in the market for 'free electricity' and in some cases consumers may wind up paying a higher per kilowatt hour rate on their overall consumption and that will result in a higher bill," said Brian Landrum, President, Gexa Energy LP.

At Oncor, Gexa Energy's Every Day, Every Night plan is a 14-month fixed rate with an all-in average rate of 10.2¢/kWh (all rates reflect 1,000 kWh usage). This reflects a flat energy charge of 6.4¢/kWh, a TDU volumetric charge of 3.2¢/kWh and a TDU monthly fee of $5.25. A base charge of $9.95 applies in billing cycles where usage is less than 1,000 kWh.

At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Gexa Energy's Every Day, Every Night plan is a 14-month fixed rate with an all-in average rate of 10.4¢/kWh. This reflects a flat energy charge of 5.7¢/kWh, a TDU volumetric charge of 3.9¢/kWh and a TDU monthly fee of $8.52. A base charge of $9.95 applies in billing cycles where usage is less than 1,000 kWh.

The product includes a $150 early termination fee.
