TriEagle Energy announced a strategic alliance with ecobee and Earth Networks, the company behind WeatherBug Home energy efficiency solutions.
Starting today, TriEagle Energy Texas customers may begin enrolling in TriEagle WeatherBug Home plans.
These plans include WeatherBug's energy efficiency ScoreCard that compares real-time weather data with home energy use to evaluate how a home responds to changing weather conditions. WeatherBug Home predicts just how much heating or cooling a customer's home needs given that day's weather
The WeatherBug Home scorecard provides insight into energy use, compares energy use to neighbors, and offers guidance on what homeowners can do to save money on HVAC costs.
These plans can be combined with a subsidized ecobee Smart Si thermostat to optimize energy use. The ecobee Smart Si thermostat allows homeowners to monitor and control their Wi-Fi-enabled thermostat anytime, anywhere using their smartphone, tablet, or computer. The smart thermostat also understands the weather outside to deliver the right temperature at the right time based on the homeowner's schedule.
"This is the natural evolution of our already groundbreaking PrimeTime program launched last year," said TriEagle President and COO Rob Cantrell, referring to TriEagle's voluntary peak-time rebate program (click here)
