The Connecticut PURA said that it will accept comments on a motion from the Retail Energy Supply Association which opposed an increase in Connecticut Light & Power's self-managed Standard Service load from 20% to 30%, and which also sought to institute protocols for the release of data regarding CL&P's self-management activities.
RESA had said that PURA should develop a protocol for amendments to the approved procurement plan, which had specified that CL&P shall self-manage 20% of Standard Service load. The state's procurement manager allowed CL&P to increase its self-managed portfolio to 30%, which RESA found inconsistent with statute.
RESA has also sought the development of protocols for the public disclosure of data related to CL&P's self-management activities, similar to the disclosures required for the full requirements default service contracts.
