Texas REPs Seek to Assign POLR Obligation to Affiliate

Several of the NRG Energy retail electric providers have filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas to assign their non-volunteer POLR responsibility to affiliate Reliant Energy Retail Services, LLC.

Specifically, Cirro Group, Inc., Energy Plus Holdings, LLC, and Green Mountain Energy Company requested that the Commission designate Reliant Energy Retail Services, LLC as the Large Service Provider (LSP) affiliate to provide POLR service for all of the POLR areas in which the companies were designated as LSPs (non-volunteer POLR).
