Former Ameresco Manager Launches New Energy Broker

Walter Jones, who spent over a decade at Ameresco, has launched a new energy broker, Barranca Energy Procurement Services, LLC

Barranca Energy Procurement Services is already active in the California market, and has applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas.

Jones, previously Manager of Supply Consulting at Ameresco, brought Albertsons/Supervalu and Marriott International to Ameresco as clients.

Jones has also procured supply for Bank of America, Allegheny Technologies, Time Warner, and Union Bank, and was part of a team that delivered large aggregation consulting & auditing services to the City of Chicago and the Chicago Transit Authority.
