Connecticut Light & Power Residential Default Service Rate to Increase (New C&I Rates Also Posted)

Connecticut Light & Power has filed new Standard Service rates for the six-month period beginning July 1, 2014, and new Last Resort Service Rates for the three-month period beginning July 1, 2014.

The July 1, 2014 CL&P residential (Rate 1) supply rate will be 9.990¢/kWh. The current CL&P Rate 1 supply rate is 9.235¢/kWh.

Both rates (and all rates below) DO reflect the bypassable Federally Mandated Congestion Charge, which is fixed for 2014 at 0.070¢/kWh.
