New Retail Supplier Licensed in Georgia
The Georgia PSC recently granted Colonial Energy, Inc. a natural gas marketer certificate. Colonial had been serving interruptible customers in Georgia, but the certificate now allows Colonial to serve firm service customers in Georgia. Colonial has said that it would focus on serving commercial and industrial customers, but may serve residential meters in conjunction with its related commercial and industrial accounts.
Start-Up Led By Hess, Direct Veteran Receives Licenses
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Daybreak Energy LLC electric and natural gas broker licenses. Daybreak Energy is led by Thomas McCune, who has served as a C&I account manager at suppliers including Hess, Delta Energy, and Direct Energy Business, focusing on the Ohio natural gas and electric markets.
