Eligo Energy Seeks Licenses in New State

Eligo Energy PA, LLC is seeking electric and natural gas supplier licenses in Pennsylvania to serve all customer classes in all service areas, according to a recently posted public notice. Copies of the applications filed with the PUC were not yet available.

Draft Order Would Approve Acquisition of Connecticut Retail Supplier

A draft Connecticut PURA decision would find that Lumens Energy Supply CT, LLC has demonstrated its financial, technical and managerial capability to operate as an electric supplier, and would therefore approve the acquisition of Aequitas Energy, Inc. by Lumens Energy. PURA had held that the acquisition by Lumens Energy constituted a "transfer of license" pursuant to the General Statutes of Connecticut §16-245(j), and hence the need for Lumens to independently meet the licensing standard.
