Comcast/NRG Brand Offering Electric Service in New Territory

Energy Rewards, NRG Energy's brand dedicated to its partnership with Comcast, has begun offering service at Penelec, in certain counties.
At Penelec, Energy Rewards is offering residential customers a 12-month fixed rate of 7.0¢/kWh, and a variable rate currently priced at 6.3¢/kWh. The variable rate is guaranteed to be 10% below Penelec's Price to Compare during the first 6 months.
There are no early termination fees.
As in other territories, Penelec customers choosing Energy Rewards receive an enrollment bonus of a $25 Visa prepaid card when enrolling for electricity only, or a $75 card when enrolling in both electricity and natural gas
Energy Rewards' service at Penelec is available to Comcast subscribers in the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, McKean, Somerset, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland.
Energy Rewards also offers electric service at Duquesne Light and West Penn Power (certain counties only), and, as first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, natural gas service at Columbia Gas and Peoples Natural Gas.
