A final report on retail demand response and dynamic pricing during 2013 prepared for ERCOT Staff has been posted.
The report estimates 500 MW of demand response during a 4CP event in 2013
The report estimates demand reduction in response to price spikes in 2013 as around 432.5 MW.
"There were very few price spikes in ERCOT in 2013. Consequently, many programs were not activated and the estimates here do not reflect potential demand reduction," the report notes.
