Constellation, Honeywell Expand Smart Wi-Fi Thermostat Offering to 23 States

Honeywell and Constellation have expanded to 23 additional states a program offering customers who elect Constellation, for electricity or natural gas supply, a gift card of up to $200 that can be used to purchase any Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat.

The program was first launched in Texas.

Residential customers receive a $100 gift card for enrolling in one commodity, and $200 for enrolling in both commodities. The offer doubles for small businesses.

Constellation customers can choose from a variety of Honeywell Wi-Fi connected thermostats available online and in retail stores, as well as through local contractors. Retail products include the Honeywell Lyric Thermostat (MSRP: $279); the Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat (MSRP: $249); the Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Touchscreen Thermostat (MSRP: $149) and the Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat (MSRP: $119).

Constellation is offering six-month or longer fixed rates under the program, which is now available in essentially every state where Constellation is active in the mass market.

Honeywell will help manage promotional and recruitment efforts for the program.
