Connecticut Light & Power Residential Default Service Rate to Exceed 12¢; Last Resort Rates Hit 20¢

Connecticut Light & Power has filed to increase its residential Standard Service rate to over 12.6¢/kWh, and to increase Last Resort Service rates to 20¢/kWh.
The January 1, 2015 CL&P residential (Rate 1) supply rate will be 12.629¢/kWh. The current CL&P Rate 1 supply rate is 9.990¢/kWh.
Below are CL&P's new rates, which reflect the updated bypassable Federally Mandated Congestion Charge of 0.030¢/kWh.
