Retail Supplier Names Former Direct Energy VP As New COO

Ethical Electric has named Chris Perrault as Chief Operating Officer

Perrault has been involved in the retail electric markets since restructuring in the late 1990s, and previously served as Vice President of Federal Relations for Direct Energy

Previously, Perrault served in a variety of senior operational positions at Direct, Constellation NewEnergy and AES NewEnergy.

Perrault began his career as Director of Utilities for PepsiCo Restaurants, where he negotiated some of the first retail electricity contracts when California's power markets opened to competition in the 1990s

Perrault most recently ran a consulting business supporting start-up clean energy companies.

Tom Matzzie, CEO of Ethical Electric, said that Perrault, "will help accelerate our growth into new markets."
