Potomac Edison has filed with the Maryland PSC new residential rates for the period beginning June 1, 2015, and new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning March 1, 2015.
For residential and Type II customers, the new rates are an increase over the current charges and the comparable year-ago seasonal charges.
For example, the new Schedule R (Residential) electric supply charges (excludes transmission and reconciliations) at Potomac Edison will be 7.061¢/kWh for June to September 2015, and 6.728¢/kWh for October 2015 through May 2016. These charges were 6.641¢/kWh and 6.181¢/kWh for the summer 2014 and winter of 2014-15, respectively.
Unless otherwise indicated for capacity charges, rates below are in cents per kWh. Rates reflect only the energy (and capacity where applicable) component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliations.
