Retail Supplier WGL Energy Services To Focus on Large Commercial, Government Sales

WGL Energy Services is focusing its retail energy business on large commercial and government accounts, executives said yesterday during an earnings call
WGL Holdings CEO Terry McCallister said that WGL Energy Services has, "an increased focus on large commercial and government account relationships."
WGL Holdings CFO Vincent Ammann, Jr. added that, "the focus of our sales effort recently, as well as going forward, will be on the large commercial and government accounts in both the electric and natural gas markets. We believe this strategy will facilitate the return of earnings to historical levels."
Discussing reduced charges to retail suppliers from PJM versus last year's polar vortex, McCallister also said that WGL Energy Services has introduced options that allow a customer to choose a lower price in exchange for sharing the risks associated with potential costs volatility
