National Grid Massachusetts Default Service Rates To Fall 40% To Below 9¢ Starting in May

National Grid fixed basic service rates for Massachusetts residential and commercial electric customers will fall below 9¢/kWh starting in May, under rates filed with the DPU.

The fixed basic service charge for residential customers is 8.896¢/kWh for May through October 2015

The fixed basic service charge for commercial (G-1) customers is 8.365¢/kWh for May through October 2015

The rates remain subject to DPU approval.
