New Texas REP Offering Free Sundays Plan

Smart Prepaid Electric, a brand of Tara Energy, which is owned by Just Energy, is the latest Texas retail electric provider to offer a Free Sundays plan
Under the plan, which is a variable rate prepay product, Free Electricity is based on credits. Free Electricity begins each Sunday at 12:00 A.M. and ends at 11:59 P.M. Customers will first be billed for usage received during this period before credits are applied. The usage received during this period will be credited back by means of a credit applied within 2 to 4 business days (between Tuesday and Thursday of the immediately following week). The credit will be based on the rate in place at the time the usage is received.
In the Oncor service area, the plan's EFL lists an average all-in rate of 12.8¢/kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage.
A $2.95 payment processing fee applies to payments.
