AEP Texas Launching Energy Efficiency Customer Portal Offering Services From "Limited" Number of Retail Electric Providers

AEP Texas is recruiting a "limited" number of retail electric providers to offer LED lighting products, discounted under various energy efficiency programs, through a new AEP Texas online retail marketplace.
According to a market notice from AEP Texas:
"In 2015, AEP Texas launched an online retail marketplace which, in association with participating Retail Electric Providers (REPs), can be used to promote and deliver energy efficiency measures to residential customers within the AEP Texas service area. The website, which is called 'Efficiency Connection', focuses on promoting and selling LED lighting products for an amount that is discounted through the application of program incentives. Participating REPs are able to offer program incentives to their customers for recruiting, retention, and customer satisfaction. AEP Texas is currently recruiting a limited number of REPs to participate in this program. Interested parties should contact their Competitive Retail Relations point of contact to learn more about this opportunity."
