Star Energy Partners Launches Service In New State

Star Energy Partners has expanded its service territory to include residential and commercial electric supply in Pennsylvania, initially at PECO and PPL
In the coming months, Star Energy Partners will offer service at Duquesne Light and the FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities.
The move into Pennsylvania utility service territories is part of Star's, "multi-year expansion plan in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states," the company said.
Star Energy Partners' residential rates are as follows ($/kWh):
PPL 24 Month Fixed $0.0939 24 Month Fixed 25% Renewable $0.0949 24 Month Fixed 100% Renewable $0.0959 PECO 24 Month Fixed $0.0959 24 Month Fixed 25% Renewable $0.0969 24 Month Fixed 100% Renewable $0.0979
All of the products include a $95 early cancellation fee.
Star Energy Partners will also offer Pennsylvania customers its Energy Cost Awareness Program (ECAP), which provides expert advice to help customers conserve energy, reduce costs and improve their carbon footprint. The program includes a home or business energy analysis, personalized savings plan, discounted products and services, and exclusive Star Energy rewards
