Texas Retail Provider Offering New Build Your Own Plan Option

Direct Energy is offering a new build-your-own-electric-plan tool called Direct Your Plan.

Other Centrica brands, such as Bounce Energy and the former New Leaf Energy, have offered similar tools.

Under Direct Your Plan (link), customers can select:

• Plan Type (month-to-month or fixed-rate)

• Contract Term Length (3, 6, 9, 12, 24, or 36 months)

• Energy Type (0 or 100% renewable energy)

• Reward Plans (Plenti and Reduce Your Use)

• Energy Product (Nest Learning Thermostat, Energy Audit, Electric Repair Services, etc.)

• Billing Options (Auto Pay and/or Paperless)

• Home Service (Home Protection Plan, etc.)

The tool shows a graphic of a house being built as the customer makes selections
