Retail Supplier Sees 139% Growth

The "legacy" retail supply businesses of Aspirity Holdings LLC -- namely Town Square Energy, LLC and Town Square Energy East, LLC (f/k/a Discount Energy Group) -- saw 139% growth in their customer count during the 12 months ended September 30, 2015, Aspirity said in reporting quarterly earnings
As previously reported, Aspirity has disposed of the legacy retail suppliers (with the transaction taking effect earlier this month) and is starting several new retail suppliers under the Aspirity name (click here for details).
Details of the legacy suppliers' performance were included in Aspirity's earnings release, however, as it still had ownership interests in the legacy suppliers during the earnings reporting period.
Aspirity reported that the legacy retail suppliers were serving 34,980 customers as of September 30, 2015, about 139% higher than the September 30, 2014 total of 14,644
The legacy retail suppliers recorded revenue of $10.1 million for the three months ended September 30, 2015, versus $3.0 million a year ago
The legacy retail suppliers recorded revenue sales of 120,649 MWh for the three months ended September 30, 2015, versus 33,452 MWh a year ago
